This past Sunday was a perfect fall day: sun shinning brightly, not a cloud in the gleaming blue sky, and the temperature was a glorious 20C (68F). After lunch, I casually strolled down to the Cavtat Riva with my camera in the hope of capturing the atmosphere of our Sunday afternoon culture.
The mega yachts have sailed off to warmer climates; local families were out walking their dogs and with the children in strollers, and not a tourist in sight. I sauntered to my favorite Riva café to indulge with my afternoon drink of choice, a small Makiato (Macchiato). Thus began one of my favorite pastimes, people watching and photo time.
love to see picture of Dalmatia off-season…
We also enjoy the Riva more during off season.
Thank you for giving me a glimps of Croatia.
I can compare to what we have here and seem that we have simular life styles
Just great to know what is going on in the land of my granfather and grandmother
Nicest time to visit Croatia is during our lovely fall season. Perhaps next year?
Beautiful! 🙂
Thank you, it is not difficult when the views are so spectacular.
Interesting that the sea temperature is that warm still. How nice to enjoy the peace and quiet before the winter rains start.
Unfortunately the wind and rain began this week. We are now officially into our winter hibernation.
Beautiful photos…thank you for sharing…
Thank you, my photo skills are limited and it is very difficult to mess up with such lovely vistas.
Really some great shots Carol!
Easy to photograph my paradise.
Oh, I did enjoy Cavtat. Quite wistful.
These are really pretty pictures, and I think you do yourself a disservice!
You’ve captured the wonderful spirit of the coast, and it’s beauty.
Thank you for letting us see them!
